Aimie-Lee is a Ph.D. student in the clinical psychology program at the University of Ottawa. She has been working with children, adolescents and families since many years and provides evidence-based psychological assessment and treatment services under the supervision of licensed psychologists. Her approach is integrative and strengths-based with a focus on cognitive-behavioural and systemic perspectives. Seeing each client as the expert of their own experience, Aimie-Lee emphasizes collaboration, warmth, and the integration of each individual’s unique circumstances to help her clients explore their difficulties and move towards the process of healing and growth.
Aimie-Lee completed her B.A. Honours in Psychology at the University of Ottawa. She has received clinical training in a range of clinical settings, including the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario and the Centre for Psychological Services and Research. Aimie-Lee’s research in developmental psychology pertains to selective social learning (i.e, how children learn from different sources of information). She has published her work in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international conferences.
